La Miche: The Original French Bread

Predating the baguette by several hundred years, Miche originated during a time when people did not have ovens in their home as we do now. Instead, they used communal ovens that they shared with those in their town. Miche born out of the people’s need keep their families well fed (usually for about a week) before they had their next opportunity to bake.

Coming in at just over 4lbs our Miche is made with our signature Campagne dough. Its hand scored with beautiful, alternating designs, and baked to perfection.

This showstopper is a great centerpiece for your table, a stunning host gift, or as bread to feed your family for the week.

Store it on your counter covered with a cloth, cut side down.
